Find Out What We Tried At McDonald’s In Minsk, Belarus
While we’re stuck inside due to the coronavirus pandemic, I’m trying to catch up on posts I had previously planned to write…
I’ve been working on catching up on my McDonald’s reviews!
During the summer of 2018, we went on a month-long trip to Eastern Europe and the Caucasus. The first stop of this trip was to Belarus. While there we stopped into a McD’s location in the country’s capital, Minsk. Continue reading Find Out What We Tried At McDonald’s In Minsk, Belarus
Hawaii Is Giving Some Visitors A FREE Flight Home!

The coronavirus pandemic has virtually shut down travel across the globe.
The New York Times mentions how Hawaii has discouraged visitors by requiring them to self-quarantine for 14 days which could also lead to a free ticket for a flight home.
For travelers who can’t afford to follow the mandatory two week quarantine (which includes lodging and food delivery), there’s a Covid-19 flight assistance program Continue reading Hawaii Is Giving Some Visitors A FREE Flight Home!
Tasty Souvenirs From Our Deep South Road Trip
During Winter Break 2019, the Michael W Travels family took a road trip to the Deep South.
This was an interesting experience for us and probably the longest amount of time we spent driving on a daily basis for a prolonged amount of time.
We headed off from our home in Brooklyn, NY, making stops in states like Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama and North Carolina. Some of the states we had previously visited, for others it was our first time checking them out. Continue reading Tasty Souvenirs From Our Deep South Road Trip
McDonald’s Giving Free Meals To First Responders & Healthcare Workers
While my kids love McDonald’s (more so for the toys than the food), I love visiting the Golden Arches while traveling to see what’s offered in international destinations.
To date, I’ve posted about McD’s in 25 countries. (Check the bottom of the post for links to my reviews.)
I don’t know a lot about the company’s charities, but I’d guess that we’ve all heard of the Ronald McDonald House. Continue reading McDonald’s Giving Free Meals To First Responders & Healthcare Workers
Get A Free 4pc Nuggets From Wendy’s On Friday 4/24

While I’m not a big fan of fast food chain Wendy’s, this offer might get me to take a short ride tomorrow morning.
ABC News reports “Wendy’s To Give Our Free Chicken Nuggets Nationwide On Friday.”
The idea came about due to a tweet the company sent out on Twitter earlier in the week, Continue reading Get A Free 4pc Nuggets From Wendy’s On Friday 4/24
Munich’s Oktoberfest 2020 Canceled Due To Coronavirus
In 2013, Kim, Lucas and I headed to Germany primarily to attend Oktoberfest in Munich. (Check out my post, Should You Take Your Toddler To Oktoberfest.)
I’d consider it possibly the greatest event and party that you can attend in the world! At some point and if my work schedule permits, I’d love to head to Munich again for this incredible event.
If you were planning to attend Munich’s Oktoberfest in 2020, sadly, you’ll have to wait. Continue reading Munich’s Oktoberfest 2020 Canceled Due To Coronavirus

Find Out What Hyatt Did To Help Me Celebrate My 100th Country Visited!
Back in August, the Michael W Travels family went on a four week trip to South Asia, visiting five countries along the way.
The third country we visited was Nepal. This was a very special visit as this was my 100th country visited! (For those curious about what list I follow, I go by the list of UN Member States which includes 193 countries.)
For the first night of our time in Nepal, we stayed at the Hyatt Regency Kathmandu. Continue reading Find Out What Hyatt Did To Help Me Celebrate My 100th Country Visited!
