Find Out What We Tried At McDonald’s In Slovenia!

McDonald'sWhile traveling, we love visiting McDonald’s for a few reasons. It’s a real treat for the kids, its (kind of) a taste of home and I love checking out what interesting menu items are offered.

During our month-long trip around the Balkans, we visited five countries. We got to try McD’s at four of them. On the way into Slovenia from Croatia, we did a slight detour for lunch. Continue reading Find Out What We Tried At McDonald’s In Slovenia!

Road TripWhen you go on a road trip, the chances are pretty high that you’ll be eating in your car from time to time.

There are some foods and snacks that are easy to eat while driving, namely those which have little chance of making a big mess. However, when it comes to fast food, I find it hard to enjoy eating in the car since there’s no where to put the sauces. Continue reading Make Your Road Trip Much More Enjoyable With Saucemoto!

Finding Neapolitan Pizza Excellence At Pop’s Place- Ljubljana, Slovenia

Neapolitan PizzaBefore heading off on our trip to the Balkans, I had read that Slovenia had excellent pizza. This was in part due to the country being so close to Italy.

Pizza

Traveling doesn’t always mean getting on a plane or even driving very far. Sometimes, we go on pizza tours, visiting multiple shops in one day.  We started doing this more over the past year or so, since we had been grounded during the pandemic.

While I believe New York has the best pizza in the world, great pizza can also be found in states close to home like Connecticut, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Continue reading Did I Finish Pete & Elda’s XXL Pizza In The Whole Pie Eater’s Challenge?
