Philadelphia ranks as one of our favorite cities to visit if we want to get away for a day or two. Its close to home (Brooklyn, NY) and has enough to do to keep us busy.

Soon after writing my review of our visit, I was happy to see that Jollibee would be expanding by

McDonald’s isn’t a restaurant that we frequent while at home but it’s a must when we’re visiting international destinations.
We like to visit McDonald’s for a variety of reasons while traveling. I love trying out the local menu items available. The kids LOVE McD’s due to the toys. (The food is definitely secondary.) It’s also nice to eat something (relatively) familiar while away.
During our recent winter break trip, we made stops at McDonalds France a few times. From what I recall, one time was just to grab a quick dessert.

While in Paris, we made sure to eat a variety of French specialties. The thing is that many of them tended to lean more towards the dessert category!
After spending time visiting the Eiffel Tower, we decided to grab lunch at
le “Relais de l’Entrecote”.
The restaurant is well known for serving one dish, steak frites.

United Airlines recently released a cookbook featuring over 40 recipes of their inflight meals.
For most, airline food is not what comes to mind when thinking of a good meal. I think I’m probably in the minority because I usually enjoy it. This new cookbook will offer recipes of meals from the airline’s Polaris premium cabin. (For those of you who didn’t know, United Polaris debuted in December 2016.)
