DC Museum Closing, Won’t Give Part Of World Trade Center To 9/11 Museum

World Trade CenterSince the tragedy of September 11 took place over 18 years back, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has donated various items from the WTC to be displayed in public spaces around the country.

Ikea Smaller City Center Store Concept Opens In NYC In April

Ikea stores are so massive that it’s easy to get lost inside. I know when we visit Ikea, Kim and I often have a difficult time finding the way to the exit!

When visiting Ikea, Lucas loves getting his 30 minutes of time at Smaland, the free, supervised play area. (Yes, I had to look up the exact name of the area.) Last week, Kim and I went up to Lucas’s new school for Open School Night.

Lucas started first grade in the Gift & Talented program at his school. The program comes with a lot of work and learning both in school and at home thanks to lots of homework!
