If beer is your drink of choice, you’ll probably be happy to see a couple of more options to choose from once you are done going through Southwest’s boarding process and have chosen your seat. Continue reading Cheers! New Beers Offered On Southwest→
I remember reading about Anthony Bourdain’s idea of opening a food hall in NYC with the concept being something along the line of world foods. It was a while back and I can’t recall the last time I heard any mention of it until last night.
While I don’t drink so much anymore, I still found these alcohol statistics to be pretty interesting.
When it comes to drinking, these days I usually go with a beer. It’s a good time to like beer with newer, local breweries popping up all over the United States.
Here is some info from Blue Smoke: “Blue Smoke celebrates the evolving American South and honors its culinary traditions. Inspired by the many regions of the South, from the Carolina coast to the hills of central Texas, the food is soulful with a selection of smoked meats, fresh produce, and thoughtfully sourced ingredients. Classic and specialty cocktails, an extensive American craft beer list, American wines and whiskey served by a welcoming team complete the experience.”

After offering a “Mega” Bonus opportunity for dining last month (dine out 10 times & spend $40 or more to earn 10,000 bonus miles), Delta has come back with a more attainable (yet less lucrative) bonus offer.

Last month I wrote a post about America’s Oldest Bars which was based on by an article from Thrillist.
I recently came across another “America’s Oldest” article that was of great interest to me.
Restaurants aren’t always just a place to eat a decent meal. Some are quite old and historical. They might even offer a look back into the past. Kim and I have visited and dined at a few restaurants that fit this description. Continue reading America’s Oldest Restaurants→
