Lyft To Offer Beer With Discount Codes On Can!

lyftRide-share services are trying hard to earn our business. I frequently receive limited time offers to save on Lyft and Uber rides.

While Uber also offers lots of fun gimmicky promos like delivering kittens, air conditioners and gift bags, I haven’t heard of Lyft trying to advertise or promote themselves in this way.

I just came across a really interesting promotion that Lyft will be running, starting January 18. Continue reading Lyft To Offer Beer With Discount Codes On Can!

Sam Adams

JetBlue has teamed up with Sam Adams to offer a very special kind of flight.

Travel + Leisure says that JetBlue will have “the first ever cruising altitude beer flight on October 5.”

The special Sam Adams flight sounds like a lot of fun. It will fly from New York’s JFK to Denver for the Great American Beer Festival. Continue reading JetBlue Will Have a Sam Adams Beer Tasting Flight

The Oddest Checked Luggage Ever- A Can of Beer!

Back in 2012 I came across what I’d considered the oddest checked luggage I’ve ever seen.

Since then, no luggage has really caught my attention as being odd or strange. However, I did see the oddest airline passenger back in February. (No, it isn’t really a person!)

So what might a can of beer and checked luggage have in common? Continue reading The Oddest Checked Luggage Ever- A Can of Beer!

Beer Lovers Might Want To Pass On Visiting Cuba

Beer Lovers

Kim, Lucas and I ended 2015 with a trip to Cuba, a destination I’ve long wanted to visit.

We had a really good time during our visit and the island did live up to expectations. However, the food was pretty disappointing. The beverages were a bit better with their soda TuKola being quite tasty and refreshing and their beers Cristal and Bucanero being enjoyable enough when drank ice-cold. Oktoberfest Attendance Falls, Should You Attend?

Munich Oktoberfest

The biggest beer celebration in the world, Munich’s Oktoberfest recently came to an end. I wasn’t so surprised to read an article from Yahoo related to the event. Yahoo wrote that Oktoberfest attendance falls amid German border controls.

According to the article, 400,000 less visitors came to the event than during the previous year. This accounted for 400,000 less steins of beer being sold. Wow, talk about a big decrease. I wonder how this affects the economy of the city and jobs related to the event?

When Kim, Lucas and I went to Oktoberfest in 2013, we had an amazing time and would love to go again. Continue reading Oktoberfest Attendance Falls, Should You Attend?

I recently wrote about Delta adding more in-flight craft beer options and now another airline is adding to a couple of new brews to their inflight selection.

If beer is your drink of choice, you’ll probably be happy to see a couple of more options to choose from once you are done going through Southwest’s boarding process and have chosen your seat. Continue reading Cheers! New Beers Offered On Southwest

Cheers! Delta Adds More In-Flight Craft Beer Options

When it comes to Delta Airlines, on an almost daily basis all I seem to hear is bad news…

I haven’t been on top of all of the upcoming negative changes since I am not a mileage runner and I also don’t have loyalty to Delta. However, if I fly on a revenue flight with Delta in the future it sure will be a pain if miles earned from flying goes down. Continue reading Cheers! Delta Adds More In-Flight Craft Beer Options
