A couple of weeks before the Super Bowl I wrote about an Airbnb rental going for $8,500 per night. I also shared the big impact Airbnb was having on the big game.

Super Bowl 50 had a star-studded halftime show featuring Coldplay, Beyonce and Bruno Mars.

Would anyone imagine one of these stars staying at an Airbnb property after the game? Continue reading Beyonce Stays in $10,000 Airbnb After Super Bowl

Airbnb Having Big Economic Impact On Super Bowl 50

Airbnb

Are you ready for some football!

Super Bowl 50 will be played on Sunday, February 7 at Levi’s Stadium in California with the Denver Broncos going up against the Carolina Panthers.

While the game is taking place in the home of the San Francisco 49ers, the stadium is actually located a good distance away in Santa Clara.

With the Super Bowl attracting tons of people to the area, Airbnb will definitely be a popular place to book a place to stay. Continue reading Airbnb Having Big Economic Impact On Super Bowl 50

One of Most Ridiculous Airbnb Rentals Ever!

Airbnb Rentals

We’ve enjoyed staying in Airbnb’s on a bunch of occassions. We found these stays to be an interesting way to meet locals and find out some insider info about the area.

Check out a review of our first time using Airbnb in Bali back in 2012.

In the middle of 2015 I wrote about what seemed like one of the most ridiculous Airbnb rentals ever, a sweet tent in Streamwood, Illinois.

I just came across what might be the most ridiculous Airbnb listing ever and it was located close to home in Brooklyn, NY! Continue reading One of Most Ridiculous Airbnb Rentals Ever!

A Super Bowl 50 Airbnb Rental for $8500 Per Night!

Super Bowl 50Super Bowl 50 is fast approaching and will take place on February 7, 2016 in San Francisco, California.

Although it says that the game takes place in San Francisco, the stadium is actually located in Santa Clara around an hour away! (Levi’s Stadium is the home of the San Francisco 49ers.)

Last year I wrote about some pricey Super Bowl rentals available to rent through Airbnb. One guy even rented out his Tesla to sleep in! Continue reading A Super Bowl 50 Airbnb Rental for $8500 Per Night!

Study Says That Airbnb Discriminates

Airbnb

Booking a room through Airbnb is interesting. You don’t just go to the site and book a room on the spot. The host has the right to accept or decline bookings  so they definitely have some control when it comes to who will be staying at their place.

Some reasons that a property might not be available could vary. Maybe the room’s owner will be away for the dates you need, maybe a long-term renter is there, who knows.

NBC News is reporting that some people hoping to rent a place might not get it due to discrimination. Continue reading Study Says That Airbnb Discriminates

Airbnb $50 Off $100 from Amex Offers

AirbnbAmex Offers have been a great way to save (and even get free) money with some pretty solid and lucrative offers at times.

Most recently I received 2 Different Shop Small Amex Offers. The most lucrative offer that I can recall receiving was back in late June. With the offer I was able to get $375 in free money when all was said and done.

Amex Offers can even help with the decision on whether or not it’s worth keeping a credit card open. The offers can help to pay back the cost of the fee and then some.

This morning, a post from Deals We Like caught my attention. Continue reading Airbnb $50 Off $100 from Amex Offers

Airbnb Partners With Lux Car Company

Airbnb Partners

Airbnb and Tesla would seem to have little in common with each other.

Tesla sells high-end luxury rechargeable cars while Airbnb is the go to site to list your place to rent or find someone’s place to rent.

So how are the two companies “building a world with no limits to how far you can travel and how you get there“?

Well, it’s actually pretty interesting… Continue reading Airbnb Partners With Lux Car Company

Most Ridiculous Airbnb Rental Ever?

Airbnb RentalAirbnb has given us tons of new options for accommodations that never existed before.

Kim, Lucas and I have used Airbnb a bunch of times and have really seen the value that it can provide. (Check out a review of our first time using the service here.) When staying at places through Airbnb you get to connect with locals in an interesting way which can provide you with lots of advice and info about the area you are visiting.

Airbnb also offers lots of unique options including pubs, and even celebrity’s homes. Continue reading Most Ridiculous Airbnb Rental Ever?

Sleep In An Airbnb Pub

Unique HotelsAirbnb has opened up the world to many new places to stay offering loads of unique options.

Wouldn’t it be interesting to spend a night in an airplane, castle, lighthouse, watchtower, windmill or even a celebrity’s home! One of the most interesting Airbnb stays that I’ve ever read about was a contest where you could win the right to stay at an Ikea showroom in Sydney, Australia.

How about spending a night in a pub? Continue reading Sleep In An Airbnb Pub

Super Bowl Rentals That Cost Thousands Or Stay In A Tesla

The Super Bowl
$1950 per night on Airbnb

This coming Sunday the Super Bowl will be playing on probably the majority of televisions in America.

Last week I wrote about flights being added + prices rising for the big game.

With so many fans pouring into town, where does everybody stay? There are supposedly not enough hotel rooms to house these people for the week or so leading up to the Super Bowl. Continue reading Super Bowl Rentals That Cost Thousands Or Stay In A Tesla
