Wyndham Rewards used to be a pretty straight-forward program. A one night stay at any property used to cost 15,000 points (unless you opted for the cash + points option).
The program got a bit more complicated a few months back when they introduced three award pricing tiers (7,500, 15,000 & 30,000 points per night). Back in February, we were flying home from Barcelona to NYC with a stop in London. When I got my boarding pass for the London-NYC flight I had the four letters you never wanted to see.
When you get SSSS on your boarding pass, you’re in for an additional security check which can be quite annoying. To my surprise, it wasn’t that bad.

I’m an infrequent ride share user so I rarely get to take advantage of them.

Last week, the Michael W Travels family flew to Iceland.
The plane we flew on had a single aisle with 3 seats on each side (sorry, I forgot the type of plane). Since we’re a family of four, we had three seats next to each other for Kim & the kids and I was assigned the aisle seat across from their row.

For quite some time, I’d wanted to dine at The Little Owl to try out their Bacon Cheeseburger.
Back in 2009, The Guardian named it the best hamburger in the world. The Little Owl is still considered one of the best burgers as it came in #11 on The 101 Best Burgers In America for 2018 from The Daily Meal.
