The program got a bit more complicated a few months back when they introduced three award pricing tiers (7,500, 15,000 & 30,000 points per night). For lower-end properties this could be a good thing, not so much for their higher end ones.
Wyndham Rewards just sent me an offer which could be double as rewarding as usual.
With the offer, I can earn 2X points on up to five stays. While I have no plans to book a stay with Wyndham, the offer is good until September 5, 2019.
The e-mail I received advertising this promo didn’t mention if it was targeted or not. However, once I clicked on the e-mail, the site mentioned that I was invited to earn double points.
In the terms and conditions, it stated that you must “either (a) receive an email invitation from Wyndham Rewards specific to the Double Points Offer (the “Double Points Offer Email”) or (b) receive the Double Points Offer via social media, display ads, the Wyndham Rewards app, or, when signed into his/her Member account, the Offers and My Account sections of wyndhamrewards.com.”
If things change, it would be nice to earn double points although I find it unlikely that I’ll get to take Wyndham up on this offer. I also don’t find earning double Wyndham Rewards points enough of a reason to go out of my way to book a stay.
Did you receive this offer from Wyndham? If so, do you plan to take them up on the offer?
