The shop is pretty small and you can’t just stop by for a slice. Expect hours long waits to get one of their pies and delicious calzones (which I think are even better). Continue reading New Brooklyn Pizza Shop From Lucali’s Mark Iacono Opening Next Week
Last week, Eater NY wrote an article about how “The Humble NY Slice Is Helping NYC Restaurants Stay Afloat“.
We’ve tried a few of the pizzas mentioned in the article, enjoying tasty pies from Washington Squares, Black Seed Pizza and Michelin-starrted Momofuku Ko. (We’ve been the latter twice, one time doing takeout, the other time dining in, well sitting outside.)
Starting on April 20, “Stretch Pizza will take up residency inside Breads Bakery,” and it’s being led by a Michelin-starred chef! Continue reading NYC’s Breads Bakery To Offer Pizza From Star Chef Wylie Dufresne!
The 150+ year old pizzeria will add to the list of excellent pizza options already available. Back in 2017, another famous Italian shop, Sorbillo Pizzeria opened in NYC. Continue reading L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele, Famed Naples Shop Opening In NYC!
When I heard that they were offering pizza, it immediately became a must-try on my list. While pizza isn’t a part of the menu that Michelin recognized the restaurant for, I thought it would be fun to say that we had pizza from a Michelin starred restaurant! Continue reading A Visit To Michelin Starred Momofuku Ko For… Pizza!
If I’m thinking about pizza around the US, the places I think of most would be New York (really Brooklyn), Chicago and Connecticut.
Around five or six years back, I heard about an area in Pennsylvania dubbing themself the Pizza Capital of the World! I had to find out for myself about the area by taking a trip to Old Forge, PA. Continue reading Find Out About Our Visit To Old Forge, PA- Pizza Capital of the World
Last month, I wrote about how my family got to eat a meal from NYC’s most exclusive restaurant. The restaurant is located in NYC’s East Harlem neighborhood which is a bit of a trip for us from our home in Brooklyn.
Whenever we find ourselves so far uptown, there’s a pizzeria that we have to visit. Grabbing a pie (or a few slices) from Patsy’s Pizzeria is a real treat and also pretty much a bargain. Continue reading Grab A Pie At 87 Year-Old Patsy’s Pizzeria In East Harlem, NYC
After having a hard time finding a solid, affordable place in Singapore, we turned to Airbnb and it was an awesome experience. Since then, we’ve stayed in Airbnbs many times, some stays have been great, others not so much.
Over the years, I’ve come across various interesting and bizarre Airbnbs like a 6 ton potato, a vintage custom van, igloos, tents and more. Continue reading This Pizza Themed Airbnb Comes With… A Slice Of Pizza!
Last year, we attended the 1st NY Pizza Festival and had a great time. It was a no-brainer that we’d return again this year.
To change things up, we headed to the festival on the first day of the two day event. Due to this we didn’t have any recommendations to go by when choosing which slices to try. Continue reading Our Experience At The 2nd Annual New York Pizza Festival
This wasn’t our first time competing in the challenge. Back in 2017, Kim, Theo and I completed the race and had a great time. (Find out about our experience here.)
For those of you unfamiliar with the challenge, here’s a description of what goes down. Continue reading Our Experience Running The 2019 NYC 5 Boro Pizza Challenge
We’re pretty lucky with the fact that Brooklyn pizza is some of the best you’ll come across just about anywhere. There’s also plenty of great shops in Manhattan and the other boroughs.
We also like going on trips to Connecticut, Philadelphia and (to a lesser extent) New Jersey in search of great pizza. Continue reading Brooklyn Pizza Scene Gets Even Better, Head To F & F Pizzeria Now!
