This sounded like great news. However, in New York the openings applied to state beaches. The opening of local beaches were up to the local governments as long as they could follow the state’s rules.

Back in 2017 I first that a new
by 2019. It turned out that the Legoland New York location was supposed to open . park didn’t announce an actual opening date until late in 2019
We were very excited that a Legoland would be opening around two hours drive from home. (We really loved visiting the Florida park a few years back and have also been to the smaller Discovery Centers.)
Legoland New York was set to open on July 4, 2020.

Legoland is inching closer towards opening its third location in the U.S. in New York State.
The park would open in Goshen, NY, around 60 miles from the city.
