rehashI was happy to find out that I was approved for my first new credit card of 2018. An approval letter came in the mail a couple of weeks after I applied and then the card arrived a couple of days later. It’s getting way too hard to find cards and get approved these days.

A baby was born during an Air France flight from Paris to New York.

When the woman, Toyin Ogundipe went into labor, the flight attendants asked if any doctors were onboard and luckily there was.

RehashLast Thursday was a very special day for us here at Michael W Travels. Our little man Lucas turned 6 years old!

This year, Lucas wanted to go away for his birthday. While we didn’t have time to fly somewhere, we drove (less than two hours from home) to a Legoland Discovery Center outside of Philadelphia. Lucas loves Legos and he had a great time at the Discovery Center!

How I Turned 63,000 SkyMiles Into $2,700 in Delta Airlines Vouchers!

delta airlinesOver winter break the Michael W Travels family spent our time off in Austin, Texas.

This year I found it very hard to find any deals over the break so I decided to use my remaining Southwest points to get to Austin. This seemed like a pretty reasonable deal. For the return flight I had to choose between redeeming JetBlue points or Delta SkyMiles.
