RehashLast Thursday was a very special day for us here at Michael W Travels. Our little man Lucas turned 6 years old!

This year, Lucas wanted to go away for his birthday. While we didn’t have time to fly somewhere, we drove (less than two hours from home) to a Legoland Discovery Center outside of Philadelphia. Lucas loves Legos and he had a great time at the Discovery Center!

Other than booking last minute hotels for our short trip, we’ve been thinking about an itinerary for our upcoming trip over February break. delta airlinesOver winter break the Michael W Travels family spent our time off in Austin, Texas.

This year I found it very hard to find any deals over the break so I decided to use my remaining Southwest points to get to Austin. This seemed like a pretty reasonable deal. For the return flight I had to choose between redeeming JetBlue points or Delta SkyMiles.

Teigen doesn’t understand what the purpose of the beedoop machine is! No, I can’t say that I’ve ever heard of the beedoop machine at the airport before but she said via Twitter that, “the boarding pass scanner is just a beedoop machine that makes beedoop noises that register to nowhere“.
