The Awesome French Onion Soup Burger at Little Prince NYC

Little Prince NYC

Earlier in the year I wrote about The Amazing French Onion Soup Burger at Le Rivage in NYC.

I’m a big fan of burgers and on my list of burgers to try in NYC there happened to be another restaurant serving a French onion soup burger.

Kim, Lucas and I headed over to Little Prince NYC to give their version of the French Onion Soup Burger a try. Continue reading The Awesome French Onion Soup Burger at Little Prince NYC

October is HMSHost Airport Restaurant Month

HMSHostOver the years Kim and I have taken part in New York Restaurant Week a few  times, allowing us to dine at pricey restaurants for a more wallet-friendly price. While Restaurant Week can offer some good deals due to the prix-fixe menu, it isn’t always the best option due to limited menus.

I recently received an e-mail from HMSHost about an event they’ll be running throughout October- Airport Restaurant Month. Continue reading October is HMSHost Airport Restaurant Month

You’ll Dig Dining At Mister Dips- Brooklyn, NY

awesome burgers

When I first read that chef and restaurateur Andrew Carmellini would be opening a burger and ice cream stand at the new William Vale Hotel in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, I knew that I had to check it out.

I’ve had burgers at a couple of Carmellini’s restaurants (The Dutch and Lafayette) and they were awesome so I had high expectation for this new fast-food concept.

Mister Dips opened on Thursday, September 29,  and my family and I headed by to check it out a couple of days later. Continue reading You’ll Dig Dining At Mister Dips- Brooklyn, NY

Food Review: Shake Shack’s Shacktoberfest

shacktoberfest

Back in 2013, Kim, Lucas and I headed to Munich for Oktoberfest. We had a lot of fun jumping at the festival. With Lucas coming along, I answered the questions, should you take your toddler to Oktoberfest.

So, you can’t make it to Munich to celebrate Oktoberfest, why not celebrate at home?

My favorite fast- casual burger joint Shake Shack likes to celebrate by hosting their very own Shacktoberfest! Continue reading Food Review: Shake Shack’s Shacktoberfest

A Visit to the Legendary Santarpio’s Pizza in East Boston

a building with a billboard on top of it

During a recent trip I spent 7 hours in Boston. The visit was so short because I was really flying there to earn a bonus of 75,000 JetBlue points. (They were probably the easiest 75,000+ JetBlue points I ever earned.)

Once I left the airport, the first stop during my quick visit was to the legendary Santarpios Pizza located in East Boston. (Find out about the free shuttle to Santarpio’s that we took from Boston Logan Airport.) Continue reading A Visit to the Legendary Santarpio’s Pizza in East Boston

Free Shuttle to Great Dining Option Near Boston Logan Airport

a building with a billboard on top of it

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to LAX and even longer since I actually left the airport to explore the city. For quite some time I’ve heard of a hack (so to speak) where you could get a free shuttle ride to an In-N-Out by LAX.

(FYI- The free In-N-Out shuttle option ended around a year and a half back.)

A few weeks back I headed to Boston with my brother for a quick visit due to the JetBlue points match promo. Find out what I did during my 7 Hours in Boston. Continue reading Free Shuttle to Great Dining Option Near Boston Logan Airport

Trying Out the Most Unique Idaho Potato in Boise

a sign on a building

During my trip to Boise, Idaho with Lucas earlier this summer, we had a fun time checking out various sites around the city.

We also tried some of Boise’s culinary highlights. One of the fun things we did was start off our trip by trying to conquer Big Jud’s 1lb Burger. (Find out how we did in my post.)

To finish our visit, we decided to head over to the Westside Drive-In to try what might just be the most unique Idaho potato! Continue reading Trying Out the Most Unique Idaho Potato in Boise

Historic Burger Sliders at White Mana in Jersey City

white mana

I first came across the historic White Mana Diner, located in Jersey City, NJ when it made an appearance of the Food Network’s show Food Feuds.

White Mana’s home is a small, almost round building which was first used at the 1939 NY World’s Fair before it was moved to its present location in Jersey City. According to the sign outside, it’s been open in NJ since 1946. Continue reading Historic Burger Sliders at White Mana in Jersey City

The Awesome Off-Menu Burger at American Cut Tribeca, NYC

American Cut

Last summer I came across an off-menu burger at steakhouse American Cut located in New York City’s Tribeca.

The chef and owner of American Cut is Iron Chef Marc Forgione. The restaurant has been ranked as one of the top steakhouses in American multiple times. Impressive, right!

I was hoping to go to American Cut to try their burger but hadn’t had the chance to do so until recently. Continue reading The Awesome Off-Menu Burger at American Cut Tribeca, NYC
