An E-Mail I Was Happy To Receive from Barclaycard JetBlue

Barclaycard JetBlue

With 2016 being around 1/4 of the way in, it’s time to start earning some miles and points from credit cards. To date I’ve only earned 25,000 miles from the Alaska Air card.

I’ve been hoping for a big offer to come out, but there hasn’t been many credit cards to get overly excited about. I recently had reconsideration line success for the Chase United card. Continue reading An E-Mail I Was Happy To Receive from Barclaycard JetBlue

Amex Closed, JetBlue Barclaycard Delivered- Still Hope for the Signup Bonus?

JetBlue Barclaycard

Yesterday I wrote a post wondering if you closed your Amex card in hopes of getting a JetBlue Barclaycard bonus.

While I didn’t recently have the American Express JetBlue card, Kim did. I had her close the card in hopes that she would qualify for a signup bonus for the Barclaycard version rather than just have it converted over (from Amex).

When Kim closed her card, she asked the rep if her info was already sent to Barclays and if she’d be receiving that new product. The rep had told her no.

All seemed good in terms of her applying for a JetBlue Barclaycard but now I’m not so sure… Continue reading Amex Closed, JetBlue Barclaycard Delivered- Still Hope for the Signup Bonus?

Did You Close Amex Card In Hopes of Getting JetBlue Barclaycard Bonus?

JetBlue Barclaycard

When it was announced that current American Express JetBlue credit card holders would have their card transferred to the new JetBlue Barclaycard, I told Kim that she had to close her card ASAP.

I originally figured that American Express would want to transfer her card to another one of their products and was a bit surprised to hear what would be happening. Continue reading Did You Close Amex Card In Hopes of Getting JetBlue Barclaycard Bonus?

JetBlue offers flights to a variety of international destinations. I recently considering transferring my Amex Membership Rewards points to JetBlue to fly to a country like Haiti, Costa Rica, Ecuador or St Lucia. (Find out what I did with my Amex points here.)

Today JetBlue “announced the start of service to its newest destination, Continue reading JetBlue Adds Daily Flights To Destination I’d Like to Visit

JetBlue Inflight Game Day Super Bowl Specials

Super Bowl Specials

While I’m not a big football fan anymore, I’m still looking forward to watching the Super Bowl tomorrow evening. I’m rooting for the Broncos and would like to see Peyton Manning win the second championship of his brilliant NFL career.

If you’re lucky enough to go to the big game, could you imagine spending $8,500 on a Super Bowl Airbnb rental?

Airbnb has also had a big impact on the San Francisco- Santa Clara area.

JetBlue is offering a couple of inflight Super Bowl specials on game day. Continue reading JetBlue Inflight Game Day Super Bowl Specials

JetBlue, Official Airline of the Boston Celtics

Back in September I wrote about JetBlue becoming the official airline of the New England Patriots.

I also wrote about American Airlines being the official airline of two sports teams, MLB’s Chicago Cubs and the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers.

I’d consider JetBlue to be a New York airline but could they be looking to take over the Boston/ New England region too? Continue reading JetBlue, Official Airline of the Boston Celtics

What Should I Do? 100K Amex Membership Rewards Points

Amex Membership Rewards Points

In December of 2014, the last credit card that I was approved for was the American Express Business Gold Rewards card.

The card came with a very nice signup bonus of 75,000 Amex Membership Rewards points. The annual fee was waived for the first year.

I’ve been hoping for a bonus to come along from one of Amex’s transfer partners to help decide what to do with my points. Well, that hasn’t happened and now the time has come to make a decision. Continue reading What Should I Do? 100K Amex Membership Rewards Points

JetBlue To Increase Service to Mexico?

jetblue

I received an interesting press release from JetBlue yesterday related to flights to Mexico.  It appears that the airline might (will?) be increasing service to the country in 2016.

The press release’s title is “JetBlue Applauds Landmark US- Mexico Aviation Treaty“.

Besides the news from JetBlue I didn’t come across this information from other airlines or anywhere else. Continue reading JetBlue To Increase Service to Mexico?
