JetBlue Will Have a Sam Adams Beer Tasting Flight

Sam Adams

JetBlue has teamed up with Sam Adams to offer a very special kind of flight.

Travel + Leisure says that JetBlue will have “the first ever cruising altitude beer flight on October 5.”

The special Sam Adams flight sounds like a lot of fun. It will fly from New York’s JFK to Denver for the Great American Beer Festival. Continue reading JetBlue Will Have a Sam Adams Beer Tasting Flight

JetBlue Reveals Awesome New York Jets Livery!

New York Jets

JetBlue seem to be pretty involved in sports. They’re the official airline of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, New England Patriots, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Clippers and New York Jets. I’d assume that there are also some partnerships that I’ve left out.

One of the cooler parts of JetBlue being the “official airline” of a team are the cool liveries that come out. Continue reading JetBlue Reveals Awesome New York Jets Livery!

The One Problem With JetBlue Family Pooling

In 2013 JetBlue introduced a way for families to earn award flights faster.

With JetBlue Family Pooling, families (2 adults and up to 5 children) can combine points in one account which can be used to book award flights or vacation packages.

The Michael W Travels family has enjoyed the benefits of family pooling at times over the past few years. However, I just came across one problem which could probably be fixed relatively easily. Continue reading The One Problem With JetBlue Family Pooling

Most people like JetBlue. They have free snacks and free entertainment like WiFi and DIRECTV. No, they don’t offer free checked bags anymore but what could be so bad about the inflight experience?

Feet. Yes, feet would be the answer for one passenger on a recent JetBlue flight. Continue reading Find Out Why A Passenger Had a Nightmare JetBlue Flight

Did JetBlue Compensate Me For A Broken IFE?

JetBlue

There are a bunch of reasons why we like flying with JetBlue.

The airline offers a good amount of legroom, free snacks, free Wifi (with their FlyFi service) and entertainment options like DirecTV and movies.

While I rarely watch movies anymore, I do like to pass the time during a flight watching (a movie) unless I’m busy tending to one of the kids. (Lucas is good on his own during flights unless he needs to take a trip to the restroom.) Continue reading Did JetBlue Compensate Me For A Broken IFE?

Did I Get A Retention Offer for the JetBlue Barclaycard

Did You Close Amex Card In Hopes of Getting JetBlue Barclaycard Bonus?

In March of 2016 I was happy to get approved for the JetBlue Barclaycard.

I received the Plus version which gave me 30,000 points after spending $1,000 in the first 90 days. There are some perks that come with the card like free checked bags and 6 points per $1 spent on JetBlue. You also get 10% points back each time you redeem.

When the $99 annual fee posted I had a big decision to make- keep the card or close it. Continue reading Did I Get A Retention Offer for the JetBlue Barclaycard

Get Local Artisanal Ice Cream on JetBlue Mint Flights!

JetBlue mint

I’ve only heard great things about JetBlue Mint service. Maybe one day I’ll have the opportunity to give it a try. The only problem is that it can be pricey when flying with a family of 4!

For those of you that get to fly JetBlue Mint, you can now expect “a locally curated ice cream program” according to a press release. This definitely sounds interesting to me! Continue reading Get Local Artisanal Ice Cream on JetBlue Mint Flights!

Amazon Prime

Kim and I have had Amazon Prime for a few years now. Besides getting our packages very fast, we also like the service since they offer TV shows and movies. Kim’s also read some free books at times.

If you haven’t been enticed to sign up for Amazon Prime, a new offer where you can get some JetBlue TrueBlue points might lure you in. Continue reading Sign Up For Amazon Prime, Get 3,000 JetBlue TrueBlue Points
