Upcoming Events at the Awesome Diggerland Construction Theme Park

Lucas was 2.5 at the time and asked on numerous to visit again. We didn’t get to go to Diggerland again until this past May and this construction theme park was even better than we remembered!

Map Labels NYC As Jewtropolis, Anthony Bourdain Vietnam Tour, Dunkin’ Donuts Georgia, Brooklyn Pizza, Travel Contests & More- The Rehash!

rehashWe got back less than a week ago from our month- long trip to six ex- Soviet states.

Our trip home started at 3:00AM, followed by a 4 hour layover in Doha, before flying close to 14 hours to New York. It was actually a pretty comfortable flight but we’re still getting over jet lag and hoping our sleep schedules get back on track soon!

Paulie Gee’s Slice Shop- A Great New Addition To The Brooklyn Pizza Scene

Brooklyn PizzaPaulie Gee’s opened in Greenpoint, Brooklyn back in 2010. Long lines soon followed, with many wanting to try some of his great Brooklyn pizza.

Kim and I visited soon after Paulie Gee’s opened. We really enjoyed the pizza, only available by the pie. Since then, we’ve visited quite a few times, although we haven’t been there in around two years. (If you don’t arrive on weekends before opening, you’re bound to get stuck waiting to get inside.) An Awesome Local Food at Dunkin’ Donuts in Georgia

dunkin donutsThe Michael W Travels family recently returned from a month-long summer trip where we visited six new countries.

We love trying local foods when visiting new places but it’s also nice to eat something familiar at times too. We like to visit McDonald’s when traveling to new countries to see what special menu items might be available. (We also tried something interesting in Singapore at Starbucks.)

Snapchat Maps Labeled New York City As Jewtropolis

Early this morning some users of Snapchat saw New York City labeled as “Jewtropolis” on “the app’s map features,” according to Gothamist.

Exotic Voyages Launches A Tribute To Anthony Bourdain Vietnam Tour

Chef, TV star, author and traveler Anthony Bourdain shockingly passed away in early June. We recently found out that the final season of his hit series, Parts Unknown would air this fall.

A CNN documentary about Bourdain will be released by CNN in early 2019.
