I’ve had pretty good luck over the years winning various prizes and contests through Twitter. I’ve won hotel points, a $500 Expedia voucher, lounge passes and even a trip which I’ll be taking in July!

Earlier in the week I wrote that I won another Lufthansa First Class Lounge duck in a Twitter contest.
I’d been looking forward to seeing which duck I won this time and just hoped that I wasn’t sent the same duck that I had won back in October 2014.

In the contest, you answer a question (on Twitter) to enter for a chance to win a Lufthansa First Class Lounge Duck. Lufthansa ducks are collected by many and hard to come by since they are typically available only in First Class Lounges in Germany or for sale on eBay!

In September 2014 I won a Lufthansa Twitter contest. No I didn’t win a flight anywhere but I did win a highly sought after toy.
Around a month after winning, my prize arrived. I had won a Lufthansa First Class Duck!
You can buy rubber ducks for .99¢ or so but the Lufthansa variety are hard to come by. Those who visit the First Class Lounge or Terminal can get a duck as a little souvenir. Last year I decided to get the Barclays Miles & More Lufthansa card when it was offering a sign up bonus of 50,000 miles.
Considering that I fly with Kim and Lucas on pretty much all of our trips, the 50K bonus wasn’t going to get us far. I kind of thought it wasn’t the best move to get the card in the end, but I’m sure that the miles will go to use for (most likely) a couple of domestic flights.

Over the past few years I’ve heard a lot about Lufthansa’s Rubber Ducks.
The ducks are only available to those that visit a Lufthansa First Class Lounge or the First Class Terminal. I’ve only been so lucky to fly as fancy as Lufthansa Business Class so a souvenir duck has eluded me so far.

Yesterday I reviewed Diggerland, a really fun and unique construction theme park.
While at the park, Lucas wandered through the small arcade area a few times. We didn’t play any of the games but for him pushing the buttons and looking at them was as fun as could be.
