A couple of summers back we visited Georgia (the country not the state) during a week trip to Eastern Europe and the Caucasus.
While wandering around the capital, Tbilisi we set out to take a look at the Parliament of Georgia building.

During our month long trip during the summer of 2018, we visited six UN member states. For all of us, it was the first time checking out Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia.
We also spent 6.5 hours in Transnistria, a country that doesn’t really exist!

During Winter Break 2019, the Michael W Travels family took a road trip to the Deep South.
This was an interesting experience for us and probably the longest amount of time we spent driving on a daily basis for a prolonged amount of time.
We headed off from our home in Brooklyn, NY, making stops in states like Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, Alabama and North Carolina. Back in August, the Michael W Travels family went on a four week trip to South Asia, visiting five countries along the way.
The third country we visited was Nepal. This was a very special visit as this was my 100th country visited! (For those curious about what list I follow, I go by the list of UN Member States which includes 193 countries.)

Our first stop was Azerbaijan. We spent a few days in Baku and also took a day trip outside the city.

Back in the summer of 2018 the Michael W Travels family took a trip to Eastern Europe and the Caucasus. I recently I wrote about our experience at McDonalds in Ukraine (check out my review at the link below). That wasn’t the only country where we found the boys’ favorite American restaurant chain.
While visiting Chisinau, Moldova we only had one full day to check out the city. As we walked around, we made a stop at McDonald’s for lunch. While we rarely eat McD’s at home, we always stop in while visiting a new country to see what interesting items might be offered. It’s always fun to see what interesting menu items are offered at international McDonald’s locations.
