Poll Results: Is Uber Surge Pricing Fair?

uber surge pricingLast week I ran a poll to find out how you felt about Uber Surge Pricing. I wanted to find out if surge pricing was considered fair or something that you really don’t like….

I’ve found the topic to have vocal supporters on both sides. I for one, am not a fan of this pricing strategy. I feel that it reeks of the company taking advantage of its customers. Continue reading Poll Results: Is Uber Surge Pricing Fair?

Best On Time Airport, America’s Best Airline, Three Years Old- 20 Countries Visited, Two Passengers On Delta Flight, Targeted Offers & More-The Rehash!

Rehash

Overall this has been a pretty uneventful week when it comes to travel, miles and points. Once I’m done completing the required spend on my Amex Gold Business card, I hope to find some good offers to start applying for to start this new year off right.

We’re almost done finalizing the plans for our first trip of 2015. With the expiration date closing in on my Marriott free night reward certificate, I was glad to make real use of it. I got the free night from the Marriott Rewards credit card. Being that it’s only good for a category 1-4 hotel, it became a bit of a pain to figure out how to get the best value and the most useful stay.   Continue reading Best On Time Airport, America’s Best Airline, Three Years Old- 20 Countries Visited, Two Passengers On Delta Flight, Targeted Offers & More-The Rehash!

Are you usually on-time or late to the party?

I think that Kim and I used to always be on-time, maybe even a bit early until Lucas came along. These days, getting somewhere 15-20 minutes late is considered punctual for us!

What about when it comes to airports and airlines? Do you find flights constantly taking off later than scheduled? Is it the airports fault or the airline? Continue reading Best Airports For On-Time Performance

Rehash

We’re a little over a week into the new year and I hope that it is going well for everyone.

I’ve booked another flight for the middle of the year. With my United voucher from when we were stuck in Oslo expiring in a couple of months , I wanted to be sure to find the right match for it. Mission accomplished. I’ll be writing about how I used it soon. This makes it 5 flights that are already booked for 2015. On this most recent booking, I’ll be going without Kim and Lucas.

This is a big day for Lucas Miles. It’s his 3rd birthday!  Continue reading 40000 Miles of Good News, Asking For Expired Points Back, Cops Stop In-Flight Suicide, Deported From S Korea, $908 Uber Ride & More- The Rehash!

JetBlue Videos Teach Flight Etiquette

flight behaviorJetBlue wants to start off 2015 by helping us learn a little about flight etiquette.

What exactly is flight etiquette? Is there a right or wrong way as to how we should behave while flying? Or is it a way everyone should act as tourists…

To help us out, JetBlue created a couple of somewhat funny videos. Continue reading JetBlue Videos Teach Flight Etiquette
