There’s been lots written about the horrors of high prices associated with Uber’s Surge Pricing and many people feel strongly whether it’s for or against it.
With today being a big holiday- Halloween, Uber sent out a warning. The warning was to let us know that Surge Pricing is most likely to kick in tonight when demand is high.
Uber was nice enough to send out this message with some important info and an idea on how to save money on rides.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has declared a state of emergency for New York City due to the storm which has been picking up during the day.

With New Years Eve coming tonight Uber sent out an e-mail to give some
quick pro tips for getting around with Uber. The main purpose of the message is to inform everybody that Surge Pricing will be in effect during certain hours of the evening.
When I started skimming over the e-mail, I immediately felt that this message went out to remind (warn) potential Uber users in advance of upcoming ridiculously high prices if you plan to use the service.
