Did You Close Amex Card In Hopes of Getting JetBlue Barclaycard Bonus?

In March of 2016 I was happy to get approved for the JetBlue Barclaycard.

When the $99 annual fee posted I had a big decision to make- keep the card or close it. Continue reading Did I Get A Retention Offer for the JetBlue Barclaycard

Back in January JetBlue Vacations offered $150 off $150 on vacation packages for a limited time. Soon after, they changed the terms where the $150 savings was on much higher priced packages.

Some people reported getting free trips due to the promo but I couldn’t find any offers that great. However, I did find a couple of options which wouldn’t cost a ton of money.

I decided to book a very quick trip to Buffalo, New York, a city that I had never visited before. The main purpose of the visit was to try some of the areas local food… Yes, we’re primarily talking about Buffalo wings! Continue reading $179.25 + 7,400 Points= Trip for 4 to Buffalo, NY

Theo was born at the end of August 2016 and at six months old he’s already flown 16 flight segments and just under 20,000 miles. (Theo took his 1st flight at 7 weeks old.)

On every flight Theo has flown as a lap baby. When you fly to an international destination, lap baby tickets have a fee. If you’re flying domestic, you won’t have to pay anything extra but the baby will still need a ticket. Continue reading Does It Matter What Name Is On A Domestic Lap Baby Ticket?

How I Turned My US Bank FlexPerks Points Into A $768.40 JetBlue Credit

US Bank FlexPerksFor a couple of years I’ve tried unsuccessfully to use my US Bank FlexPerks points while getting max value so I could then close out my card.

I tried and tried but came up empty-handed due to a few reasons. With a shade over 40,000 points in my account, the best way to use my points would be for a plane ticket costing up to $800. Another option was to find two tickets worth up to $400 tickets. Continue reading How I Turned My US Bank FlexPerks Points Into A $768.40 JetBlue Credit
