Why Can’t I Register for US Bank FlexPerks Gogo Benefit

US Bank FlexPerks

A couple of weeks back a new perk came out from US Bank where some FlexPerks cardholders could get 12 Free Gogo Inflight Wifi Sessions. When I saw that my account qualified, I decided to run a Gogo giveaway.

Since receiving the offer, I got lazy and held off on activating it. I then tried to do so a couple of days in a row only to receive error messages stating that my card wasn’t eligible!

This was pretty odd considering I received two e-mails from US Bank about the Gogo offer. Continue reading Why Can’t I Register for US Bank FlexPerks Gogo Benefit

Club Carlson Credit Card Calls About Retention Offer

A week back I wrote about possibly getting a Club Carlson credit card retention offer.

I had called about the card’s annual fee which the rep wasn’t able to waive. However, she told me that a request could be made to see if there were any offers available. I decided to pay the fee and see what offers might possibly come up.

However, I wasn’t confident that I’d actually hear back from a manager.

Last night after getting home from Travel Massive, I was surprised to have a message from a Club Carlson credit card rep. I was so surprised that it took a minute to remember why they’d possibly be calling me! Continue reading Club Carlson Credit Card Calls About Retention Offer

The Club Carlson credit card’s second night free benefit was one of the most generous perks out there we received for having a credit card. When the offer was coming to a close, it sure was a sad day.

When news came of Club Carlson’s second night free benefit ending, I redeemed 304,000+ points for future trips. Since then, many of us have received a small amount of points and a free night certificate to make up for the loss.

When the $75 annual fee came up for my Club Carlson personal card, I had an important decision to make- keep it or close it. Continue reading Club Carlson Credit Card Retention Offer? Possibly

Visa Checkout $20 Statement Credit Posted to US Bank Card

Visa Checkout

Over the summer I wrote about an offer to get a $20 statement credit for enrolling a US Bank credit card in Visa Checkout.

With an offer so simple, why wouldn’t I take advantage of this offer?

I enrolled my US Bank FlexPerks card back in July and never really thought about the offer again. Maybe I should keep track of these promos to make sure all of them post to my accounts! Continue reading Visa Checkout $20 Statement Credit Posted to US Bank Card

$20 Statement Credit For Enrolling US Bank Credit Card in Visa Checkout

Visa Checkout

American Express seems to always be rollng out new offers to keep us using our Amex cards. One offer I’m currently planning to use will give me $5 off $25 at NYC restaurants (during restaurant week).

With one of the more lucrative offers I’ve ever received, I was able to get what amounts to essentially $375 in free money.

I just came across an offer from another bank which wants us to use their card a bit more. Continue reading $20 Statement Credit For Enrolling US Bank Credit Card in Visa Checkout

An Odd Club Carlson Credit Card Bonus Offer

Club Carlson Credit Card

With the Club Carlson credit card second night free benefit ending at the beginning of last month, Gold Points have lost a significant amount of value.

Besides losing this great benefit, to top it off, the amount of points needed to redeem for a free night have also gone up at many properties.

Kim recently got an offer for her Club Carlson credit card which seemed a bit odd. Continue reading An Odd Club Carlson Credit Card Bonus Offer

US Bank Where Are My 500 Bonus FlexPerks Points?

US Bank FlexPerksYesterday I received an e-mail from US Bank about what was supposed to be an easy and quick way to earn 500 US Bank FlexPerks FlexPoints for free.

However, this wasn’t exactly the case.

To earn the points, you’ll need to watch a short video (52 seconds long) about how FlexPoints transfer partner FamDoo works. I didn’t have much to lose so I went ahead and watched the video. Continue reading US Bank Where Are My 500 Bonus FlexPerks Points?
