There are lots of amazing sites to visit all around us or maybe under us according to Travel + Leisure.
When it comes to underground sites, the things that you will see can vary quite a bit. Some of them are natural while others are man-made.

Have any of you ever gotten sick on a trip with a cold? I’d guess that many (probably all) of you have. If you didn’t come prepared with cold medicine what did you do? Go to the local pharmacy or better yet, maybe you decided to go with a local remedy.
Last month I came across a slide show from Travel + Leisure featuring the World’s Strangest Cold Remedies.
While going through the slide show I was definitely surprised by what was used to cure a cold around the world. Most of the items sound pretty off-putting however one of the items was actually a tasty dish (highlighted below) that I’ve had many times, for dinner not to cure a cold!
I have to admit that I still love toys. As a special education teacher for kids ages birth-5, I get to play quite a bit at work.
While I buy most of my work supplies (toys) online, I still love stopping in toy stores for inspiration. I also love visiting toy stores when traveling. We were amazed at the toy sections in some of the malls during our trip to Germany back in September.
Back in April I posted about My Top 5 Animal Encounters. We’ve also had many other awesome animal experiences over the years, these were just our top 5. If you’ve read the post then you’ve probably come to the conclusion that we love animals/ animal encounters. These kind of experiences can end up being the highlight of a trip!
When I came across the article Coolest Up-Close Animal Encounters on Travel + Leisure, I was looking forward to seeing what encounters and experiences they came up with.
Italian food ranks up there as one of my favorite kinds of food. When I think of Italian, pizza, chicken parmigiana and lasagna come to mind. I have some local favorites in the New York City area and love discovering new places to try out during our travels.
I was happy to come across a slide show by Travel + Leisure featuring what they claim to be 30 of the Best Italian Restaurants in the U.S.
