a woman smiling at the camera

I came across a great way to let out some of your frustration about airlines while earning some free miles yesterday while reading USA Today online.

In the article I learned that budget carrier Spirit Airlines is giving away up to one billion miles which comes to 8,000 miles per member. To earn the miles all you need to do is tell Spirit how much you hate flying with them or one of their competitors!

The promotion is being ran on a special website created just for it. Continue reading Airline Giving Away 1,000,000,000 Miles

a stone town on a hill

How would you like to own your own town for free?

I think that it would be really cool! Just imagine inviting friends and family over.

MW: Hey, I’m having a little get together. Why don’t you stop by?
Friend: Where at, your home?
MW: My home, HA! Come stop by my town!

That could be you and for the bargain basement price of $0… If you’re willing to move to a rural area in Spain.

After writing earlier in the day about Fodor’s list of 10 Best National Parks To Visit This Winter, I found it fitting to post about a yearly deal related to the NPs.

Every year the National Park Service set aside a select list of dates for Free Entrance Days in the National Parks.

While I’ve really enjoyed visiting a few of the national parks, I’m sure that they are even better when they are also a great deal!

Every year the U.S. National Parks have select dates set aside for “free entrance days”.

I’ve never taken advantage of this offer but it definitely makes for a great time to plan a visit to a National Park. You’ll also save some cash along the way.

Entry fees are actually pretty reasonable. According to the NPS website “265 of your 398 national parks NEVER charge an entrance fee”.
