Winner of the Etihad Business Class Amenity Kit Is…

Etihad Business Class

I recently ran a giveaway for a very nice prize- an Etihad Business Class amenity kit!

Amenity kits make for great, reusable souvenirs. I use old amenity kits to organize plugs, store small electronics and for other things along those lines. Kim likes the kits to use for storing makeup…

There was a good amount of interest in the contest and now it’s time to announce a winner! Continue reading Winner of the Etihad Business Class Amenity Kit Is…

LAST CALL: Enter to Win An Etihad Business Class Amenity Kit

Etihad Business Class

Earlier in the week I posted a contest where one lucky winner will win an Etihad Business Class amenity kit from Michael W Travels!

I acquired the kit during my trip to the Middle East Gulf States over the summer of 2015. We didn’t fly in business class and you can find out how I got the kit in the link below (and let us know your thoughts on the topic.) How To Book the Complimentary Etihad Luxury Coach

Etihad Coach

Towards the end of 2014 I had what I’d consider to be the best fight connection ever

While making our way to Jamaica, we stopped in Atlanta. While there, I booked a flight (which was an amazing deal) to Abu Dhabi for just $232.53 per person.

I then came across some very valuable information from Jaunted, for those of us flying Etihad to/ from Abu Dhabi.

Etihad offers Coach Class passengers a free shuttle to either Dubai or Al-Ain.

How do you book the free shuttle? Continue reading How To Book the Complimentary Etihad Luxury Coach

Etihad Biz Class Upgrade Offer At Check-In

Etihad Business Class Upgrade

Just before we left on our trip to the Middle East Gulf States (booked during what I’d consider the best flight connection ever), I had an interesting e-mail from Etihad.

They actually sent me the offer multiple times.

Etihad was offering me the chance to upgrade to business class by essentially bidding for the seats. By making Etihad an offer between $1,100 – $1,800 each way, I could potentially be sitting in a comfy biz class seat rather than in coach. Continue reading Etihad Biz Class Upgrade Offer At Check-In

Back on Christmas Day 2014 I booked a flight to Abu Dhabi during what I’d consider the best flight connection ever.

Kim, Lucas and I recently got back from our trip to the Middle East Gulf States and I wanted to share the details about how we planned the trip along with the costs involved including miles, points and cash (well credit cards…).

Itinerary Planning:

I booked our flight to Abu Dhabi from New York’s JFK for a little over two weeks including travel time. Continue reading 233,500 points + $1,742.38 + 2 IHG Free Nights= Trip for 3 to Mid-East Gulf States

Making an Offer to Upgrade to Etihad Biz Class. Is It Worth It?

Etihad Business Class

Towards the end of December 2014 I wrote about what I’d consider The Best Flight Connection Ever.

While on the way to Jamaica, I was able to book a flight (for myself,  Kim and  Lucas) to Abu Dhabi on Etihad (in coach) for the incredible price of $232.53 per person which came to a total of $697.60.

During the trip we’ll be moving around quite a bit and it sure would be nice to move upfront on our (now) direct 13 hour flight from New York.

Etihad has been offering me the chance to make an offer to upgrade to business class. Continue reading Making an Offer to Upgrade to Etihad Biz Class. Is It Worth It?

The Best Flight Connection Ever

On Christmas Day, Kim, Lucas and I got up at around 3:25 AM to get ready to head to the airport for our flight to Jamaica. (Well Lucas didn’t exactly wake up…)

(Our flight to Jamaica would bring us to Atlanta for a quick stop of around an hour or so before heading on to Montego Bay.)

While on the way to the airport I came across a very interesting tweet from The Points Guy. Continue reading The Best Flight Connection Ever
