This weekend, we’ll be stepping on a plane for the first time in way too long.
We’ll be heading to El Salvador on United Airlines. The flight was a real bargain at an average price of around $192 per person. (Adult fares came to $205, the kids were $178.)

Just before we left on our trip to the Middle East Gulf States (booked during what I’d consider the best flight connection ever), I had an interesting e-mail from Etihad.
They actually sent me the offer multiple times.
Etihad was offering me the chance to upgrade to business class by essentially bidding for the seats. By making Etihad an offer between $1,100 – $1,800 each way, I could potentially be sitting in a comfy biz class seat rather than in coach. Continue reading Etihad Biz Class Upgrade Offer At Check-In

Yesterday I wrote a post about an NFL Star Duped By A Fake Marine.
DeAngelo Williams gave up (traded) his business class seat to a man that appeared to be a highly decorated Marine veteran. According to many people this man was not actually a Marine, he was an imposter. There are supposedly lots of signs that he wasn’t the real deal based on a variety of things, mainly his uniform and medals.

Ever wonder what an upgrade to Business Class might be worth? I’m not really willing to pay to upgrade but you can try to figure it out and place a bid, possibly scoring a bargain priced upgrade.
Earlier in the day I received an e-mail from Austrian Airlines related to social media which also celebrated reaching 200,000 Facebook fans. Congrats on the achievement I guess…
