There’s either no flight availability or when a flight is available, the taxes are just too damn high! Continue reading I Used 72,000 British Airways Avios For Flight Which Costs $1,279.24
A little over a week back, I logged into British Airways to do an award search for a domestic flight. Knowing that the flight I was looking for would be on American Airlines, I already searched AA.com and found the flights I wanted. I hoped it would be a bit cheaper using British Airways Avios. A British Airways passenger is pissed off and he shared his feelings on social media due to a meal served during a long haul flight.
Daniel Hayter “paid $2,200 for his return flights from New York to London when he was offered” a Nutri-grain bar for breakfast. Continue reading British Airways Serves Nutri-grain Bar For Breakfast, Passenger Pissed Off!
At the beginning of the month there were lots of articles about a class action lawsuit against British Airways.
The lawsuit was related to British Airways charging fuel surcharges although “the fees had nothing to do with the cost of fuel“, according to View From The Wing. Continue reading Should I Choose Cash or Avios in the British Airways Class Action Lawsuit?
British Airways gave one woman a lifetime ban for something she says she did not do.

Is British Airways heartless?
After reading an article that Kim sent me from the New York Post I’d definitely say yes.
Imagine you need to cancel your flight for a serious medical issue. Should the airline reimburse you? I’d say that it definitely depends on the situation.
Here is what happened. Continue reading Is British Airways Heartless?
On October 22 I booked a long weekend for Kim, Lucas and I to Toronto using British Airways Avios. At just 4,500 Avios (points) each way from NYC this was definitely a bargain (although the cost will be going up soon to 7,500).
I searched at BA.com and found the flights I needed (out of JFK Airport) but I wasn’t able to book online due to issues with the flight home on TAM. I called in to take care of the issue which led to a 40 minute + call to get things sorted out. BA also had to call me back two times since it took so long!
This annoying booking experience was the start of possibly our most annoying and painful travel experience in many years. Continue reading British Airways, Where’s my 40,500 Avios + $143.79
I’m not a big fan of drinking while flying. Here’s another reason why it’s not a good idea to get drunk during a flight…
A 32-year-old drunk woman tried to open the exit door during a flight and is being charged with interfering with the flight crew. Continue reading Drunk Woman Tries To Open Door On British Airways Flight
I knew it wouldn’t be good.
I woke up this morning and saw an e-mail from British Airways. The subject was Mr W., we’re making changes to the Executive Club.
These changes never seem to favor us, the flyer/ customer/ passenger, so I wasn’t looking forward to reading on but of course I had to. Continue reading No More British Airways Avios 4,500 Mile Awards in N. America
A couple of days back a British Airway’s plane engine caught fire during take off at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas.
Luckily everyone made it out alive with just 13 people (possible more) being sent “to local hospitals for treatment” according to CNN. The plane was evacuated within five minutes with passengers and crew using the emergency evacuation slides.
Some passengers were called out for bringing their luggage off of the plane during the emergency. Continue reading What Would You Do During Plane Emergency Evacuation
