British Airways gave one woman a lifetime ban for something she says she did not do.
33 year-old Bridget Nhire was flying from London to Dubai when she got into an argument with another passenger. The other passenger claims that Nhire got up too many times during the flight!

On October 22 I booked a long weekend for Kim, Lucas and I to Toronto using British Airways Avios. At just 4,500 Avios (points) each way from NYC this was definitely a bargain (although the cost will be going up soon to 7,500).
I searched at BA.com and found the flights I needed (out of JFK Airport) but I wasn’t able to book online due to issues with the flight home on TAM. I called in to take care of the issue which led to a 40 minute + call to get things sorted out. BA also had to call me back two times since it took so long!

A couple of days back a British Airway’s plane engine caught fire during take off at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas.
Luckily everyone made it out alive with just 13 people (possible more) being sent “to local hospitals for treatment” according to CNN. The plane was evacuated within five minutes with passengers and crew using the emergency evacuation slides.
