A couple of weeks back my not so little man Lucas reached double digits! I can’t believe that he is 10 years old! To celebrate, we had our favorite burger at Peter Luger.
Due to COVID, 2020 wasn’t a very good year for anyone. In terms of travel, Lucas and I took a trip to the Netherlands, otherwise, we all went on some bunch of road trips.
My birthday was at the beginning of the week. Leading up to and on my birthday, I received various discount offers from different companies and restaurants.
In the summer of 2019, the Michael W Travels family went on a four week trip around South Asia. During our trip we visited 5 countries, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh and India.
During our visit to Nepal, Hyatt helped me celebrate visiting my 100th country with an awesome surprise. Due to this and another Hyatt stay during our trip, we were beyond impressed with the company’s customer service.
Last week our little man Lucas turned 8 years-old!
Rather than have a birthday party, our family opted to celebrate by going on a quick trip to Philadelphia (probably our favorite city close to NYC). Since we all love to travel, this was a great way to celebrate!
I can still remember our first trip with Lucas at 3 months old to Barbados and now, here he is at 8 years-old having already visited 64 countries! No, that isn’t a typo, before turning 8, Lucas made it past 60 countries. Yes, Lucas is a true world traveler! Continue reading Happy B-Day World Traveler Lucas- 8 Years-Old, 64 Countries Visited!→
Alamo Drafthouse is a movie chain known for offering food and drinks (of the adult variety, too) brought to guests by waiters.
I’ve also read how the chain “is famous for its strict policy of requiring its audiences to maintain proper cinemagoing etiquette”, according to Wikipedia.
A few days back, our (not so) little boy, Lucas Miles turned 7 years-old!
It’s almost hard to believe that Lucas is already seven years old. He’s in first grade, doing very well in school. Lucas loves math and is excelling in reading and writing. Yes, homework can be cause for complaint though!
My birthday is coming up at the end of this month and we’ll be heading off on our winter break trip the following day. (I guess I could say the trip is my present!)
