Over the past week I wrote about a couple of offers to earn bonus miles with various credit cards.
I recently received an offer to earn 10,000 bonus points with the City National Bank. I also received a very interesting offer to earn 30,000 bonus American Airlines miles.
I was also a bit surprised to receive another offer to earn 5,000 bonus American Airlines miles. Let me explain… Continue reading Earn 5,000 Bonus American Airlines Miles
I recently received a bonus offer from my AAdvantage Aviator card where I can earn a bonus of 30,000 American Airlines miles!
While the offer sounds very nice, it also requires a good amount of spend over the course of 6 months to earn the bonus miles.
Let’s take a closer look at the offer. Continue reading Earn 30,000 Bonus American Airlines Miles
Barclaycard is back with a new bonus offer for the AAdvantage Aviator Red Mastercard.
Kim received her offer in the mail recently while I was sent an e-mail with the same offer yesterday evening.
With the offer, Kim and I can each earn a bonus of up to 5,000 American Airlines miles. Continue reading Earn Up To 5K Bonus Miles with AAdvantage Aviator Red Mastercard
Around a year back those of us with US Airways credit cards became American Airlines AAdvantage Aviator Red card holders.
While I haven’t used the card much, I did hold onto it when Barclays gave me a retention offer. The bank has had some decent bonus offers from time to time plus cardmembers get perks like 10% off redeemed miles, up to 10,000 miles per year. Those were enough reasons to keep the card with no fee.
I just received a new bonus offer where I can earn up to 2,500 AAdvantage miles. Continue reading Up To 2500 Bonus Miles w/ AAdvantage Aviator Red Card
Back in March I was surprised when I had paid my AAdvantage Aviator Red card’s bill even though the card hadn’t arrived.
For those of you confused by what I am talking about, I’ll quickly explain. Due to American Airlines and US Airways merging, the Barclays US Airways credit card was being switched over to the AA Aviator credit card.
When my bill arrived in the mail a few weeks back with the $89 annual fee included, I knew there was an important call that I had to make. Continue reading Did I Get An AAdvantage Aviator Red Retention Offer?
Barclaycard has been known to send out bonus offers for their credit cards where you can earn a nice chunk of miles or points for hitting a minimum amount of spend (usually for a few months in a row).
The first card that I recall getting an offer like this for was the US Airways Mastercard. Over the summer I received an offer from Barclays for my Wyndham Rewards Visa.
Around a month or so back I received a bonus offer from my AAdvantage Aviator Red credit card which I didn’t consider going for. I didn’t even think about it again until Kim got an offer for her Aviator Red. Continue reading Which AAdvantage Aviator Red Credit Card Bonus Offer Is Better?
A few days back I confirmed an award booking with American Airlines that I briefly had on hold.
After I finished purchasing the award flight, I waited a day or so before I logged into my account to check to see if I got 10% of my redeemed miles back. This is a benefit offered by a couple of credit cards that I have, the Citi AAdvantage Platinum Card and the new Barclays AA Aviator Red (formerly the US Airways Mastercard).
(You can get a max. of 10,000 miles back each year as a benefit of each card.)
When I logged in, I did see 10% of my miles returned to my account but I was a bit confused. Continue reading Odd 10% Redeemed Miles Back from AA Award Booking
Yesterday I paid the bill on my Barclaycard US Airways Mastercard or so I thought…
I logged on at barclaycardus.com and expected to see an image of my familiar US Airways card but I was a bit surprised. Continue reading I Paid My AAdvantage Aviator Red Mastercard Bill?
