These pants go on every trip that we take. If I’m not wearing them, then odds are pretty high that I’m wearing (in warmer weather) a pair of Clothing Arts shorts. (I prefer their Adventure Travel Shorts but the Business Travel Shorts are an excellent choice too.)
Back in August I wrote a review of what I’d consider possibly the best travel pants ever.
The pants are from Clothing Arts and are called the P^Cubed Adventure Travel Pants. If you want to be sure to have all or your valuables safe, then these are the pants for you. Just as important is the style, comfort and quality of these pants.
Considering that we tend to fly much more frequently in coach, amenity kits are not something that we get often.
Over the years we were disappointed with our Singapore kits (more a small pouch), really liked our American Air (business & first) kits and loved Lufthansa’s Awesome Oktoberfest Inspired Amenity Kits. There are quite a few others that I didn’t mention but you get the idea…
A little over a year back I wrote a review of the Hoboroll, “a luggage organizer that provides compression of items as well as multiple storage compartments”.
I found the Hoboroll to be very useful when it came to packing for a short weekend trip. With relatively small compartments I found it hard to fit a bunch of my shirt into one. Because my clothes are pretty bulky, I found it to be of little use to me. However, when it came to Lucas this is where the Hoboroll excelled. We could fit just about all of his things into the Hoboroll in an organized way for a 10-12 day trip. Continue reading A Helpful Travel Item Gets Even Better→
While at the NY Times Travel Show’s Industry Day back in February I came across a company which offers a pretty unique kind of apparel.
Clothing Arts makes the P^cubed Adventure Travel Pants which really caught my attention. They looked similar in some ways to other travel pants that I’ve worn over the years (North Face, ScotteVest). They come in similar neutral colors with cargo pockets along with a bit of a twist.
A few months back I was offered a product to try out and review by Gobi Gear called the Hoboroll. The Hoboroll is “the first luggage organizer that provides compression of items as well as multiple storage compartments”. .
I’m always looking for ways to make travel easier and organizing things simpler so I was happy to accept the offer. .
A little about the Hoboroll:
Five compartments to organize your things
Made from lightweight nylon so it doesn’t add much weight
It can reduce packed volume by up to 50%
Compression: two straps/ clips across the middle
Can be opened/ closed from either side
Can be used as a stand alone item thanks to the shoulder strap or be placed inside a larger bag.
