$20 Off When Paying With OpenTable

OpenTable App(Don’t forget to vote in my poll: Is it wrong to take amenity kits when flying in coach?)

I love using OpenTable when dining out since it’s another easy way to get something back.

There are times when we’ve earned points with OpenTable, miles/ points from one of the many dining programs and (obviously) earned points for charging our meal. This method can be a nice way to triple-dip when it comes to miles & points earning…

OpenTable recently introduced a new way to pay through their app and yesterday I received a very nice offer to give it a try. Continue reading $20 Off When Paying With OpenTable

mcdonald's mexico

I’ve written many times in the past about how I like to visit McDonald’s while traveling to new places but rarely ever step foot inside a McD’s at home.

  1. I love seeing what local or different items might be on the menu.
  2. Sometimes you just want something to eat that is familiar.

During our trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico I visited McD’s due to reason #1. Continue reading Some Tasty Local Eats At McDonald’s Mexico

Best Cities For Chocolate Lovers

Jacques Torres Chocolates

While traveling (and at home), Kim and I love to visit local chocolate shops & factories that we come across.

Much like beer, chocolate comes in all different varieties and flavors which are definitely fun and enjoyable to sample.

At home, we are pretty lucky when it comes to chocolate. There are many notable places where amazing, local chocolates are produced. We have Mast Brothers, Jacques Torres, Nunu and Raaka just to name a few… (For those of you unfamiliar with chocolate around NYC, those mentioned here are all actually located in Brooklyn.) One of the Craziest Groupon Deals + 20% Off Code

Groupon Deals

Deal sites like Groupon can be a great way to save some cash on  entertainment, dining out and a wide variety of items and other services.

I used to purchase lots of these kinds of deals from Groupon, Living Social, Travel Zoo and a bunch of other websites but these days I am much more selective. Since these deals typically have expiration dates, they can become a real pain to use or even forgotten about. Continue reading One of the Craziest Groupon Deals + 20% Off Code

Prison- The New “In” Place To Dine?

There is a hot new place to dine in the U.K. and it’s probably the last place you’d expect people to go for a high end meal.

I’ve heard of various trendy and popular foods that people are willng to wait on long lines for. I’m thinking of more recent items like the incredible Ramen Burger, the Cronut (still haven’t tried a real one) and other things along those lines.

But what about popular or trendy places to dine? Bed restaurants, highly priced tasting menus, pop-up resaurants, dining in the dark,  Medieval Times? (I’m not really serious about the last option.)
