RIP Anthony Bourdain, Kimpton Monaco Philadelphia Review, LL Bean Being Sued, McDonald’s Cyprus, NYC Getting Nutella Cafe, Win A Trip To Australia & More- The Rehash!

rehashRIP Anthony Bourdain.

The world was shocked by the surprising death of Anthony Bourdain a few days back. Many of us have been affected by this in one way or another. Most of us would say that he had the dream job- traveling all over the world, eating great food and meeting interesting people. Maybe that kind of life isn’t all that its cracked up to be.

Here is one of my favorite Tony Bourdain quotes:

“Travel isn’t always pretty. It isn’t always comfortable. Sometimes it hurts, it even breaks your heart. But that’s OK. The journey changes you; it should change you… You take something with you. Hopefully, you leave something good behind.”

I’ve been reading and watching stories about him all weekend. Yes, I’ll go back and watch (or rewatch) episodes to destinations we’ll be visiting on future trips. I think many of us will.

Now it’s time to take a look back at some of this past week’s posts in a recap that I like to call, The Rehash!

I received a Happy Anniversary message from Wyndham Rewards.

Check out my Hotel Review: The Kimpton Monaco Philadelphia.

Here is your chance to Win a trip for two to Australia. Enter by June 17, 2018.

Outdoor clothing and boots maker LL Bean is being sued over changes made to their guarantee and return policy.

I received an offer to get 10% off Lyft rides for a limited time (targeted). Did any of you receive a similar offer?

New York City is getting a Nutella cafe. Are you a fan of the hazelnut spread and would you like to visit?

I’ve visited lots of McD’s around the world. Find out what McDonald’s menu items we tried in Cyprus.

A couple of weeks back, former MLB player Lenny Dykstra was arrested for an incident in an Uber. In an interesting twist, Dykstra claims that the Uber driver kidnapped him.

That’s all I’ve got.
