Over the summer I read about a program where Southwest donated leather from some of their airplane’s seats to a good cause.

The leather seats were swapped out for EVOLVE, seats which maximize space and increase the amount (of seats) from 137 to 143. (You can read more about EVOLVE here.)

Southwest Offering Free Drinks for Halloween

Southwest Airlines seems to really get it when it comes to customer service.

They offer a Really Cool Perk for Kids, which Lucas was able to get after I inquired about it a few times. They’ve done some fun in-air stunts like Turning an Aisle Into a Runway in the Sky and they always seem to be running giveaways for free trips..

Earlier in the year I wrote about how Southwest was selling reusable car seat/ stroller bags. If you’re worried about your stroller or car seat getting messed up while in transit, the bag seems to be a pretty good deal at just $15.

During our first couple of flights with Lucas, we put his stroller into a bag to keep it from getting dirty or ruined. However, we found it to be a big pain and not worth the effort. Since then his stroller has made it out safely after all of our flights. (Find out where Lucas has flown up until turning 2 this past January.)

Well enough about Southwest’s car seat/ stroller bags (and me bragging about Lucas).
