An Unplanned (& Tasty) Visit To Jollibee In New York City!

JollibeeEver since we visited Jollibee in Woodside, NY, back in 2016, I’ve wanted to return to try more items from their menu.

I first came across Jollibee while watching an episode of Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown. For those of you not so familiar with the restaurant, it’s a fast food restaurant from the Philippines which is quite popular there. Think of it as the country’s version of McDonald’s.

Over the summer I wrote how the final season of Anthony Bourdain Part’s Unknown would air this fall. The show will debut this Sunday, September 23 so make sure to tune in to CNN to check it out.

After the chef, author and globetrotting TV star tragically passed away, a bill was proposed for an Anthony Bourdain Food Trail in New Jersey.

Snapchat Maps Labeled New York City As Jewtropolis

Early this morning some users of Snapchat saw New York City labeled as “Jewtropolis” on “the app’s map features,” according to Gothamist.

I Finally Tried Una Pizza Napoletana And It Was Amazing!

una pizza napoletanaLast summer, the Michael W Travels family was supposed to have a long layover in San Francisco on the way home from our trip around the Pacific.

I had plans for our short visit… We were going to go to a San Francisco Giants game and dine at Una Pizza Napoletana. Due to a delayed flight, we never made it to San Francisco.
