Last year I had a great time visiting the Delta Flight Museum which is located at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
When I found out that the Freddie Awards would be held at the museum I knew it was an event that I didn’t want to miss. I’ll be heading to Atlanta on Wednesday afternoon, a day prior to the big awards ceremony.
I was beyond excited and honored to be invited by Ed Pizzarello of the Pizza in Motion blog to participate in an event for a good cause the day after the Freddies, the Delta Jet Drag.
Talk about a really creative way to sell airline tickets for a good cause…
Air Transat, a Canadian airline based out of Montreal is offering tickets to Europe (from Canada) starting at some very attractive prices through an auction on Twitter.
The best part of this deal is that all proceeds raised are being donated to a good cause- the SOS Children’s Villages. Continue reading Air Transat Auctioning Cheap Tickets To Europe On Twitter
Around a year back I wrote about The Girls of Ryanair 2014 Swimsuit Calendar.
The calendar has been made by the airline since 2008 and was available during flights as well as online. It’s sold for a good cause and features flight attendants in bikinis. Last year’s calendar raised around 100,000€ for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Continue reading No Ryanair Swimsuit Calendar in 2015

Shake Shack is one of my favorite burger shops and I’ve written about my love for their food many times.
Besides making great food they also try to do some good.
Here is a way to help end childhood hunger while also getting a shake from Shake Shack at a great price!
Shake Shack is hosting the 3rd Annual Great American Shake Sale to benefit Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry Campaign throughout the month of May.
This month you can earn up to 5,000 Delta SkyMiles by making a donation to the American Cancer Society. While this isn’t really a way to manufacture spend, it is a way to get a small reward for donating towards a good cause.
Here is how it works:
The first 5,000 SkyMiles members to contribute will earn:
- 500 bonus miles for donating $100
- 1,000 bonus miles for donating $250

While Uber does tend to be pricey they do run some fun promotions and also try to do some good. Throughout the month of March, they will be donating $1 per ride in NYC to one of 6 charities with Ride for a Cause.
This promotion is a partnership between 6 local charities.
Although I’ve never used Uber, I love all of the interesting & odd promotions that they come up with.
The first Uber promo that I can recall was over the summer when they delivered ice cream in various cities around the country. The next promo that stood out was in late October. Uber delivered kittens for National Cat Day.
Uber started off the holiday season on December 5 by delivering Christmas trees on-demand for one day. I was a bit surprised that Uber did not run a Thanksgivukkah promotion.
Now Uber would like to help spread the holiday cheer, looking for help in giving back.
