The Michael W Travels family makes it a point to visit Philadelphia at least once per year. At around two hours drive from home, the city makes for a quick and fun getaway.

We loved exploring Acadia NP in Maine and enjoyed (but weren’t overly impressed with) Great Smokey Mountains NP, located in North Carolina and Tennessee.

A couple of days back we spent a night at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar Philadelphia. I’ve wanted to check out this property for quite some time so I was definitely excited for the visit.

This is the most bizarre Winter Break for us, yet. Due to the need to quarantine for four days upon returning from most places in the US and internationally, we haven’t gone far from home. We’re currently in Philadelphia and will probably check out some other areas in Pennsylvania or NJ. Exciting, right? 🙂
