rehashLucas and I are currently in Amsterdam! The Netherlands is Lucas’s 65th country visited. Quite the feat for an 8 year-old!

So far, we’re having a great time in Amsterdam. I was here around 20 years back so it basically feels like I’m visiting a new place. We had a jam-packed first day, doing a free walking tour, visiting a couple of museums and eating a good amount of tasty food & snacks! More Alternate Routes To Machu Picchu Being Created This Year

Machu PicchuMachu Picchu, Peru would probably rank as one of Kim and my favorite sites which we’ve visited around the world.

When visiting this incredible UNESCO World Heritage Site, you can either hike there or take a train (most of the way). Kim and I took the train from Ollantaytambo.

In the future, I’d love to visit Machu Picchu again and do a trek to the site. Continue reading More Alternate Routes To Machu Picchu Being Created This Year

Would You Pay To Use The Overhead Bin During A Flight

Norwegian AirA couple of days back I wrote about a flight that I booked from NYC-Amsterdam for $356 roundtrip.

While I feel that this is a very fair price to pay to fly to Europe, the flight on Norwegian Air does have some restrictions. I booked the cheapest option called Lowfare which doesn’t even come with the right to use the overhead bin! Continue reading Would You Pay To Use The Overhead Bin During A Flight

rehashA month back I wrote about an awesome deal that I came across (Beijing, China- $291 roundtrip) which was too good to pass up. Less than two weeks later, reports started coming out about the coronavirus.

Due to the coronavirus, I decided to cancel my trip. (About that $291 roundtrip deal to Beijing, China…)

Ever since I canceled our trip, I’ve been looking for another option for my week off in February. Last night, I found a deal worthy of booking. I’ll be returning to a country I last visited almost 20 years back and Lucas will be visiting for the first time. We’ll also be trying an airline we’ve never flown with before. More details will be coming in an upcoming post.
