JetBlue’s New Route- Fort Lauderdale to Turks & Caicos On Sale

JetBlue will be start flying a new route from Fort Lauderdale- Hollywood International Airport (FLL) to Providenciales, Turks and Caicos (PLS) on November 19.

Interesting New JetBlue Entertainment Option

Back in May I wrote about Amazon Prime becoming JetBlue’s newest inflight entertainment option.

This was a great addition for those with Amazon Prime accounts, adding even more choices to the airline’s offering of free DIRECTV and (free) FlyFi internet service.

JetBlue T5 Rooftop Opens For All At JFK

Back in 2013 Delta opened a nice outdoor space at the Sky Club at JFK Airport called the Sky Deck. Check out my post about it here.

While I enjoyed visiting the Sky Deck, I haven’t been back since I haven’t flown much out of T4 and also no longer have access to the lounge…

JetBlue Launched Service To New Caribbean Destination Today

JetBlue launched service earlier today to a new Caribbean destination which I found to be quite interesting.

The airline began flying its twice-weekly service to Grenada’s Maurice Bishop International Airport (GND) from New York’s JFK.

With the addition of Grenada, JetBlue “now offers up to 152 daily flights from the U.S. to Latin America and the Caribbean, of which up to 61 daily flights are nonstop from New York JFK and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)” according to the JetBlue press release that I received. JetBlue To Offer Direct NYC – Cuba Flights

JetBlue announced that it will be offering a direct flight from New York to Havana through its charter partner Cuba Travel Services.

According to the press release, “JetBlue is the first major carrier to announce a new flight to Cuba from New York since travel restrictions were recently eased“.

Great Use For Recycling JetBlue Crewmember Uniforms + Win A Trip to NYC

In late 2014 I wrote about how Southwest airline seats were recycled for a good cause. The airline donated the leather from some of their old airplane seats which in turn were made into soccer balls and other items.
