A few years back I came across a fun online game where you are given 15 minutes to find out: Can you name the countries of the world?
Lonely Planet’s Best In Travel 2014 sounds like an interesting reference guide. It offers the best trends, destinations, journeys & experiences for the upcoming year.
While I’ve never purchased this kind of guide, I love skimming through them, seeing what made the list for the upcoming year. For Lonely Planet to come up with their results they used information provided by LP staff, authors and online community.
A list of interest to me was the Top 10 Countries for 2014. I wouldn’t necessarily use this list to help me decide where to visit next but it’s fun to see what is supposed to be hot for the new year.
