AviancaOver Spring Break, the Michael W Travels family was supposed to visit Ecuador and the Galapagos. This was a trip that Kim and I had wanted to take for years but COVID-19 had other plans.

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, our flight on JetBlue to Ecuador was canceled. The miles I used to book the flight along with the taxes were promptly refunded. Over Spring Break, the Michael W Travels family was supposed to head to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands but COVID-19 had other plans.

Where Do We Stand With Getting A Refund From Avianca?

Last week I wrote about how Avianca had canceled our flight in Ecuador from Guayaqil to the Galapagos.

When I found out that our flight was canceled (we would’ve canceled if the airline didn’t), Avianca stated that the ticket would remain valid until we had a new travel date.

Woman Shows Up At Airport For Flight, Level Airline Isn’t There!

A woman showed up at Newark Airport to fly to Paris for her friend’s wedding.

She checked in online with Level Airline but when she got to the airport, the airline wasn’t there!
