US National ParksEach year the U.S. National Parks offers a bunch of Entrance Fee-Free Days where entry to all parks are free!

Dates for Entrance-Free Days for 2015 were announced earlier in December. I decided to hold off a bit about posting them since the first free day isn’t until January 19.

On Christmas Day, Kim, Lucas and I got up at around 3:25 AM to get ready to head to the airport for our flight to Jamaica. (Well Lucas didn’t exactly wake up…)

(Our flight to Jamaica would bring us to Atlanta for a quick stop of around an hour or so before heading on to Montego Bay.)

With Christmas just a couple of days away and Hanukkah having only a couple of nights left, I’d bet that we’ve all received our fair share of holidays messages.

American Express Membership RewardsI’ve been thinking of transferring my American Express Membership Rewards points for quite some time and now might be the time to do so.

A couple of years back I got a great offer for a new American Express card but had to fight to get my 100,000 Membership Rewards points bonus.

Last month I wrote about a Crazy Expensive IHG Anniversary Free Night We’re Not Booking.

While we had some good ideas and plans for Kim’s free night , nothing seemed to work out to make it useful for an actual trip. We couldn’t just let the free night expire so we decided to book a room in the last place we’d expect  (a place I mentioned in the post above).
