Last week I received a bonus offer from my Southwest Airlines credit card and now American Airlines has sent an offer to earn 5,000 bonus miles.
In the Holiday Early Access bonus campaign, American Airlines eShopping is offering me the chance to earn 5,000 bonus miles. To earn the bonus, I’ll need to do a somewhat hefty amount of spend through their online shopping portal.

Amex Offers have been a great way to save (and even get free) money with some pretty solid and lucrative offers at times.
Most recently I received 2 Different Shop Small Amex Offers. The most lucrative offer that I can recall receiving was back in late June. With the offer I was able to get $375 in free money when all was said and done.
Amex Offers can even help with the decision on whether or not it’s worth keeping a credit card open. The offers can help to pay back the cost of the fee and then some.

When I purchase a travel guidebook, the overwhelming majority of the time, we go with Lonely Planet.
While no guidebook is perfect, Kim and I find Lonely Planet to put out the best guides for our travels. We like getting a bit of history about the country, learning about the sites (obviously) and skimming over the dining suggestions.

Earlier today I received an e-mail which had what I assumed was a new offer from Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards. With the offer, I can earn 2X points on fall trips. The funny thing is that the offer actually started over a month back!
