Wendy's

Chicken sandwiches have been a popular item at fast food chains for some time now.

Last summer, Popeye’s version sold out fast causing fights in some locations. It took months for them to get the item available on their menus again. Check out my post, This Is Better Than The Popeyes Chicken Sandwich to find out what restaurant I am talking about!

Other notable chicken sandwiches can be found at Shake Shack and Fuku among others… Continue reading Get A FREE Spicy Chicken Sandwich From Wendy’s!

I’m sure that many of you have had to cancel trips due to the coronavirus pandemic and would love to get away when it’s safe to do so in the future.

I was supposed to go with Lucas to China in February. We canceled that trip and decided to go to the Netherlands instead. We also had a family trip to the Galapagos planned for Spring Break. You can probably guess how that worked out. What can you do… Continue reading Sicily Creates Fund To Pay Half The Cost For Travelers To Visit

McDonald’s Giving Free Meals To First Responders & Healthcare Workers

McDonald'sWhile my kids love McDonald’s (more so for the toys than the food), I love visiting the Golden Arches while traveling to see what’s offered in international destinations.

To date, I’ve posted about McD’s in 25 countries. (Check the bottom of the post for links to my reviews.)

I don’t know a lot about the company’s charities, but I’d guess that we’ve all heard of the Ronald McDonald House. Continue reading McDonald’s Giving Free Meals To First Responders & Healthcare Workers

A little over a month back, I wrote about “Beijing, China- $291 Roundtrip, A Deal Too Good To Pass Up.”

Around 10 days later, reports started coming out about the coronavirus. At first it didn’t seem to be bad but as the days passed, the reports got worse. I decided to call Expedia to cancel my flight without penalty. I wrote an update about that $291 roundtrip deal to Beijing.

After canceling, I was left with a little over two weeks to find another deal or I’d end up home during February break. Continue reading NYC- Amsterdam: $356 RT, Sweet Deal After Our China Plan Fell Through

A little over two weeks back I wrote about A Deal Too Good To Pass Up- $291.39 Roundtrip To Beijing, China.

I booked flights for myself and 8 year-old son Lucas to Beijing. We were both really excited to head back to China for a quick visit to Beijing and the Great Wall. It would also be our first Father- Son Trip in quite some time.

However, things changed around 10 days after booking. Continue reading About That $291 Roundtrip Deal To Beijing, China…

Beijing, China- $291.39 Roundtrip, A Deal Too Good To Pass Up!

For quite some time, I’ve been on the look out for an airfare deal for February break (aka Midwinter Recess in NYC.)

This year, Kim can’t take off of work during this time so the plan was for Lucas and I to go on a Father- Son Trip for the first time in a while.

When I mentioned the idea to Lucas, he was really excited. I asked him for ideas of where we should go. His first thought was Paris! I’d say he made a great choice but we were just there last winter break (December 2018).

I kept an eye on Paris prices just in case nothing else materialized until I came across a deal to Beijing, China. Continue reading Beijing, China- $291.39 Roundtrip, A Deal Too Good To Pass Up!
