After much debate, I finally booked a flight using American Airlines miles for our one month summer trip. Our miles will get us to our first destination, but we may need to use cash to book our flight home. That’s the problem with miles and points- you can’t always get what you want!

Lucas has been wanting to return to Diggerland Construction Theme Park for quite some time. It looks like we’ll be doing a last minute trip there this upcoming weekend thanks to a media invite. We’ll use IHG points to book a night close by rather than having to drive home immediately after.

American Airlines is being sued over death of a 25 year-old during a flight. This is an interesting situation and one has to wonder- does an onboard doctor or should the airline’s doctor on the ground decide whether or not a flight should divert.
