After much debate, I finally booked a flight using American Airlines miles for our one month summer trip. Our miles will get us to our first destination, but we may need to use cash to book our flight home. That’s the problem with miles and points- you can’t always get what you want!
Lucas has been wanting to return to Diggerland Construction Theme Park for quite some time. It looks like we’ll be doing a last minute trip there this upcoming weekend thanks to a media invite. We’ll use IHG points to book a night close by rather than having to drive home immediately after.
How has your week gone when it comes to miles, points and travel?
Now it’s time to take a look back at some of this past week’s posts in a recap that I like to call, The Rehash!
This is really awesome and I’d love to visit in the near future. International McDonald’s menu items will be available at the new McD’s Chicago headquarters.
I wonder what kind of interest this might have in the Big Apple. A $300 million Margaritaville resort will open in NYC.
Here is your chance to Win a trip for two to Northern Ireland. Enter by May 31. 2018.

Here’s a chance to earn 500 bonus United miles with your 1st purchase using the MileagePlus X app. I finally gave it a try. I plan to write a post about the experience.
Will the FAA regulate airline seat size? There’s a chance this can soon happen along with some other consumer- friendly new rules.
The airlines are not happy with passengers taking first class blankets. Have you been guilty of taking a souvenir off of the plane? I have!
That’s all I’ve got.
