World’s Largest Cruise Ship Delivered To Royal Caribbean

The world’s largest cruise ship was delivered to Royal Caribbean on Friday, March 22.

200+ Passengers Get Stomach Virus During Royal Caribbean Cruise

Over 200 passengers on the Royal Caribbean cruise ship Independence of the Seas came down with stomach viruses during a five night cruise.

Boston Marathon Victims Connect On French River Cruise

With the 2014 Boston Marathon ending without incident and an American winning for the first time since 1983 it was a great comeback for the race which was struck by terror just a year back.

In 2013 many lives were affected by the cowardly bombings which occurred at the finish line. Three people lost their lives and hundreds were injured but most seemed to come out of the situation in good spirits.

I came across an amazing article in Esquire back in January that I wanted to wait to share until after the 2014 Boston Marathon took place.

Holland America Line is giving away a 7 to 11 day cruise for 2 around Europe in a new contest. Entering is easy. All you have to do is sign up for their e-newsletter.

While I am not a cruise fan, I’ve gone on one cruise and it was actually with Holland America. The ship was relatively small (they describe their ships as mid-sized), the service & staff were great and the food was amazing. However, being that I get seasickness, that’s exactly what happened early on during the trip.

Besides getting seasickness, I found being on a cruise to be extremely boring. There is only so much sitting by a pool and waiting for the next meal that I could deal with.
