festivalBetter late than never… The Michael W Travels family attended the 2nd Annual New York Pizza Festival in Bronx’s Little Italy on October 5th. (I’ve been a bit tardy on getting my post together.)

Last year, we attended the 1st NY Pizza Festival and had a great time. It was a no-brainer that we’d return again this year.

The Very Important Question I Asked NYC’s Mayor De Blasio At The NY Pizza Festival

Mayor De BlasioLast weekend the Michael W Travels family attended the 2nd Annual New York Pizza Festival in the Bronx’s Little Italy. (Check out my review of last year’s festival here.)

Plane Makes Emergency Landing On NYC Highway

Screen Shot 2014-01-05 at 2.09.56 AMA plane made an emergency landing on the Major Deegan Expressway in the Bronx, NY yesterday afternoon at around 3:20 PM. The most incredible part of the story is that nobody was seriously injured.

According to an article on Yahoo News, the small Piper PA-28 plan was heading back to Danbury Municipal Airport when it experienced engine problems. There were 3 passengers on board, a male pilot and two female passengers. All were taken to a Bronx hospitable for non-life threatening injuries.
