rehashWith the school year back in full swing it’s been a relatively quiet week here when it comes to miles, points and travel.

Besides hoping for a big credit card offer to arise (not really expecting that), I’ve been finishing off the minimum spend on my newest credit card. Otherwise, Kim and I need to start planning our winter trip. The international flights are booked, now we need to do everything in between. For quite some time now, I’ve been using my iPhone as my camera. I think the last time I brought my Canon SLR on a trip, was when we visited Cuba back in late 2015/ early 2016.

Using the iPhone as a camera makes things much easier. You always have your phone on you, so there’s no issue with not having a camera to take photos with. Continue reading Did You Know About This Hack For Taking Photos With An iPhone?

Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown Leaving Netflix, Stuck AA Passengers Get Pizza From Pilot, McDonald’s McMansion, 20% Off Hyatt House, Travel Contests, Diggerland & More- The Rehash!

rehashIt’s hard getting back into the swing of things after being away for a month over the summer.

I’m glad that we’ll soon be going away for a short break which should be really enjoyable for the kids. (Thanks to a Hilton Grand Vacations timeshare offer we couldn’t refuse.)

Otherwise, I’m looking for another credit card to apply for. It’s been a very slow year for bonus offers for us. Hopefully we’ll close out 2018 strong. Our trip home started at 3:00AM, followed by a 4 hour layover in Doha, before flying close to 14 hours to New York. It was actually a pretty comfortable flight but we’re still getting over jet lag and hoping our sleep schedules get back on track soon!

The city is a great place to visit due to great food, and sites like Park Guell, Las Ramblas, Sagrada Familia and various other works of Antoni Gaudi. Continue reading Barcelona Supposedly Has Some Big Tourist Problems
