Discounts With Your Boarding Pass

Singapore Airlines Boarding Pass

Did you know that you could get discounts with your Singapore Airlines Boarding Pass?

Back in August 2012, Kim, Lucas and I took a trip to Southeast Asia visiting places like Singapore, Bali and Malaysia. We had an awesome time during the trip, visiting many interesting sites and having many memorable experiences.

While these destinations aren’t what most would consider expensive, it’s always better to save whenever you can. Continue reading Discounts With Your Boarding Pass

Pay With OpenTable Was A Real Pain + Couple Days Left for $20 Off

OpenTable App

Earlier in the week I wrote about a new option to pay for your dines through the OpenTable app.

The main reason I wrote about this new option was due to an offer (which is still available until April 20) where you could get $20 off your bill for making a reservation and then paying through the app.

Yesterday, Kim, Lucas and I went to a restaurant in NYC to give the app a try (and obviously save $20 on our meal) and boy was it a disaster! Continue reading Pay With OpenTable Was A Real Pain + Couple Days Left for $20 Off

$20 Off When Paying With OpenTable

OpenTable App(Don’t forget to vote in my poll: Is it wrong to take amenity kits when flying in coach?)

I love using OpenTable when dining out since it’s another easy way to get something back.

There are times when we’ve earned points with OpenTable, miles/ points from one of the many dining programs and (obviously) earned points for charging our meal. This method can be a nice way to triple-dip when it comes to miles & points earning…

OpenTable recently introduced a new way to pay through their app and yesterday I received a very nice offer to give it a try. Continue reading $20 Off When Paying With OpenTable

While away on our trip to Myanmar I’ve been trying to keep up with what’s going on in the world of miles and points as best as I can.

The internet connection has been slow and unpredictable but definitely still much better than I had expected it to be.

Around a week back, Frequent Miler broke the news that the Club Carlson Visa card was getting rid of the bonus award night benefit where you get the second night free when booking two or more nights.  Continue reading Club Carlson Triple Points + 1,000 Bonus Points Per App Booking

If you’re looking to pay for an upcoming stay this can amount to a nice little savings and is definitely worth looking into.

However, when I clicked the link in the e-mail it brought me to an offer for InterContinental Hotels, not all IHG properties! Continue reading Confusing: TopCashBack- 7% Cash Back At IHG or InterContinental Properties?

IHG, Thanks For Letting Me Know

IHG Rewards Club
Back in November I wrote about a crazy expensive Chase IHG Rewards Club Anniversary Free Night we weren’t booking.

With Kim’s anniversary free night expiring, this led us to book an unnecessary (and expensive) night at  the Intercontinental Times Square. I used my anniversary free night  recently at Holiday Inn Express Charleston Downtown. Continue reading IHG, Thanks For Letting Me Know
