Koalas Fly First, Vote In Amenity Kits Poll, Leo DiCaprio Hotelier, Myanmar, Airline Employee Slapped, Southwest Special Livery & More- The Rehash!

The Rehash!

We’re back for not even a week from our trip to Myanmar (Burma) and I’m already itching to go away again.

The next trip on my schedule is less than two weeks away and it’s a short one. I’ll be heading to Atlanta with my brother to attend The Freddie Awards ceremony at the Awesome Delta Flight Museum.

Otherwise, I’m looking to book a flight for a trip at the end of June and also need to figure things out for our trip in August to Abu Dhabi before the Club Carlson credit card second night free offer goes away.

How has your week in miles, points and travel been?

Now it’s time for a look back at some of this past weeks posts in a recap that I like to call The Rehash!

It looks like a big time movie star is looking for some other business ideas. Leonardo DiCaprio to open eco-resort on private island.

Talk about an awful time a place to fall asleep on the job- Man stuck in cargo hold, plane turns back.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a fun Buzzfeed Quiz. Can you Guess the skyline of famous cities.

Talk about a crazy story, an airline employee got slapped by passenger due to luggage.

This is pretty cool. Check out Southwest’s new special livery: Missouri One.

Cancer patient kicked off Alaska Air flight and based on the accounts of what happened, I’m not sure if they were wrong in doing so. Tough call…

I plan on writing a bit about our most recent trip which was to a very interesting destination. Find out about 14 things we learned from visiting Myanmar (Burma).

Cute and cuddly koalas check out Qantas first class.

$5 flat rate Uber rides- NYC L train shutdown, UberPool to the rescue.

There isn’t much time left to vote in my Poll: Is it wrong to take amenity kits when flying in coach? And while on the topic, FAs say it isn’t wrong to take amenity kits.

This is a really creative way to sell flights at a discount while also raising money for a good cause. Too bad it’s only open to Canadian residents. Air Transat is auctions off cheap tickets to Europe on Twitter.

On that note, I hope that everyone has a great week. Make sure to keep checking back for daily new posts here at Michael W Travels!
